The latest addition to South Africa's fast growing broadcast journalism bouquet is Africa News Network7, commonly known as ANN7. It is a fully-fledged news channel located in Johannesburg in a state-of-the-art, broadcasting centre that rivals the very best in the world.
ANN7 was launched in August 2013 and broadcasts 24-hours a day across all SADC countries. It is screened through the DStv platform on channel 405, alongside other dedicated news channels, and effectively has access to 4.5-million subscribers.
It boasts the most technologically advanced newsroom automation systems, ultra modern news gathering technology and end-to-end production in high definition (HD) and graphics.The channel has a monthly reach of nearly 2.5 million viewers through its quality news and analysis and innovative programming.
