American rapper Meek Mill walked out victorious at the 2016 Billboard Awards when he beat rival Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Dr Dre for Rap Album of the year for ‘Dreams Worth More Than Money’.

Meek Mill, whose real name Robert Rihmeek Williams, has been labelled the biggest ‘L’ on Twitter since his feud with Drake erupted. The feud began when the rapper was offended that Drake allegedly did not promote his album which later filtered into accusations of Drake having ghost writers and Drake responded to the allegations with a diss track.

The first tweet that sparked it all was Meek Mill asking people to stop comparing him to Drake because unlike the OVO rapper he writes his own raps.

“Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!” Meek tweeted.

The rapper from South Philadelphia also tweeted that Drake did not even write his verse on the song he featured him on and said had he knew he wouldn’t have given the song a chance.

“He ain’t even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album….. I don’t trick my fans! Lol” he tweeted.

It seems Meek Mill got the last laugh as he walked away with best rap album prompting Twitter users to question his victory asking how did he manage to beat all the other rappers he was nominated with.

Meek’s album was released in June last year and has charted to the No. 1 spot. William recently served three months of house arrest after he was arrested for parole violation in February this year.

After all the twitter bashing he has received and being on the wrong side of the law this award will sure bring some positivity in his career.
