Nandi Ntoni was born in England to Jazz legend Victor Ntoni and music executive producer/business woman Linda Ntoni. Nandi was destined to forge her way in the world of broadcasting. She started off her love for media from a tender age and her interest led her to studying and getting a qualification in Media Studies.
Having gone through college with fellow industry trail blazers, she picked up a job with Crux a christian magazine show on SABC 1 as a presenter, along side Thokozani Nkosi, director at Eclipse Productions, this is where she learnt how to hone her craft in front of the camera. Later in 2007 she joined Yfm as a producer and co-host with Mo Flavor, whilst still completing her studies.
She always dreamed of having her own talk show and her prayers were answered when she landed a position as a host and producer for Talk To Me. A talk show that debuted on Tshwane TV, here she had the opportunity to interview people from all walks of life, including industry movers and shakers and touching on current affairs. She soon found out about a news channel that was looking for new news anchors, seeing that she already had the training, experience and qualification, she took a leap of faith and landed the position as a permanent news anchor and producer for ANN7’s morning slot Vuka Africa, along side Gerry Rantseli Elsdon. She continues to expand her 10 year media experience in the news realm.
In her spare time she runs an egg donor agency assisting potential infertile parents find donors so that they can fall pregnant and start a family. Children have always been a passion and she finds time to
volunteer at soup kitchens and donate needed items to those in need. One of her many other talents has always been fashion, she turned her hobby into supplying clothing for boutique stores and her styling skills have impressed local celebrities. She aspires to make both her agency, Match Making Donors and clothing procurement, Jozi Island, thriving businesses one day.
